Our first trip out of Florida brought us to a final destination of Deltaville VA. We met friends we made in Jacksonville and took time out to visit our grandchildren and family for the months of October and November. The picture of Red Swan is just one of many glorious sunrises we experienced in Deltaville VA .

Red Swan performed very well during the trip north with only one serious problem with air in the fuel lines. The problem got solved by the skipper in the Waccamaw River, after consulting with manuals and several diesel mechanics.

We experienced our first tropical storm "Tammy" during this trip with a stay in Charleston SC waiting for it to pass. Red Swan handled the wind and waves just fine. The crew however would have preferred to be somewhere else.
