Winter in Palm Beach was quite enjoyable. Visiting family and making new cruiser friends who were either comming back from or going to a distant place such as the Bahamas or Trinidad & Tobago.

Sailing in the ocean was a pleasure especially after coming south through the Intercoastal Waterway where the water depths were not freindly to a 6 foot draft boat.

Our time in Florida was relaxing and rewarding because we were able to be near and visit with family who didn't see very often when we lived up north.
